Took several long exposures of the comet from my backyard. Used durations of 20 to 30 seconds at f9.5. Used a 400mm lens with a 1.4X teleconverter for an effective focal length of 560mm. Also took pictures at 400mm, but they didn't capture the Corona nearly as well. Corona barely visible on print (and white). Used scanner controls to boost contrast and brightness a lot. Enhancing the scan in this manner brought out details not visible to the naked eye on the print. Probably also distorted the correct color balance, but hey, who cares? It looks cool.
