Wine Cellar

While we don't consider ourselves wine connoisseurs, we do like wine and we've had the experience of keeping a bottle for a couple of years, and then have it not taste quite right. If you have any desire to collect or store wine for even as little as a year, you need proper storage. The far corner of our basement was the coolest place, and in winter it was probably around 50 degrees, which was fine, but in the summer it could approach 70 degrees, which is too warm for wine storage. Temperature swings are also not good for wine.

And we never would buy a case of wine, because we couldn't safely store it.
